1954 - 2009
  Truck Company 29 was established on February 8, 1954 at it's current location of 1201
East Cold spring Lane, in Northeast Baltimore City. Truck 29 was not placed in active
service until February 26th. The quarters was built for Truck 29 and Engine 4 was added
on February 26th due to the age of there quarters which was built in 1882.

  The first Captain of Truck 29 was Elmer P. Dunn formerly of Truck 18.

  1st Truck was a 1954 Peter Pirsch with a 85 ft. Steel ladder. Manufactured out of
Kenosha Wisconsin.

  2nd Truck was a 1967 American LaFrance 100 ft. ladder.

  3rd Truck was a 1974 Seagrave  and was later sent to Truck 3.

  4th Truck was a 1971 Seagrave that was purchased  as a used Ladder Truck from
Leesburg VA. With the help of Joe Cole of Truck 29.

  5th Truck and current is a 1995 Simon/Duplex 100 ft. LTI ladder. Purchased New

with the Baltimore City Historical Society located on 201 West Monument Street Baltimore City,
The Baltimore City Fire Museum at 414 Gay Street Baltimore, MD. The Book of Unherald Hero's

of Truck Company 29 who have maintained historical pictures and records of the Baltimore City
